The explorer is intentionally narrow: two reporting years, counts rather than rates, and no attempt to fill suppressed or missing records.
Valid county records only
Only 2022 and 2023 rows with a five-digit county FIPS code are mapped. Suppressed and unknown geography is not reassigned.
Fixed count ranges
Colors show 1–4, 5–19, 20–99, 100–499 and 500+ reported cases. A patterned fill means there is no published county value.
Map and table together
The table is the precise, keyboard-friendly alternative. Search works with county names and state abbreviations.
